Press Releases, and Upcoming Events Big Y World Class Market Corporate offices has made a $150.00 donation which allowed MotherWoman to purchase plush, comfortable floor chairs for mothers attending the Greenfield MotherWoman Group. "We are so grateful for Big Y's generosity," stated Greenfield Group facilitator Meg Baker. "We never would have been able to afford such nice chairs otherwise." The day after Melanie DeSilva, Executive Director, sent the donation request letter, Charles L. D'Amour, the president of Big Y read the letter, immediately brought the letter to the attention of the donation's coordinator and instructed her to help us. Now that's service! The Greenfield MotherWoman Group is held every thursday while public school is in session at the Early Learning Center at North Parrish in Greenfield from 10:30-12noon. This group is offered in collaboration with the Birthplace at Franklin Medical Center, NELCWIT, the Greenfield Women's Resource Center, the Greenfield Public Schools, and GCC's Women's Resource Center. |
