Help pass Postpartum Legislation and take a STAND with Representative Ellen Story
in support of BILL #3897- AN ACT RELATIVE TO POST-PARTUM DEPRESSION. Click here for a fact sheet about the bill.
Rep. Ellen Story of Amherst is the sponsor of this postpartum depression bill which provides for screening, referrals, and education on PPD.
Here's what you can do.
1. Send a letter to your State Representative and Senator TODAY
Ask them to STAND with Rep. Ellen Story in support of the PPD Legislation.

2. Attend the Press Conference: Speak Out on PPD
Show your support for PPD legislation and share your story of how PPD has impacted your life at the press conference on Tuesday, January 26 at 12noon. Mothers are welcome to join at 10:15 for PPD MotherWoman group. All are welcome to join at 12 noon for the Press Conference. Vernon Street Building, Vernon Street, Northampton, MA. 3. Attend the Hearing on PPD Legislation
Make an important stand by attending the Hearing on PPD Legislation at the State House, Boston on Jan 27th at 10 am in support of the PPD Legislation. Contact liz@motherwoman.org for more information and to carpool to Boston.
