A journal dedicated to the well-being of all mothers!
Welcome to the circle
Sharing our words and taking a break
The MotherWoman Journal was published twice yearly for several years. It will not be published in 2008 due to financial
constraints, which saddens us. Despite this, we are still accepting submissions on the topic of Mothers and Work. Selected articles will be released to our email list,
and possibly in a new version of MotherWoman Journal in the future. For now, we remain commited to having the wisdom of other women, other mothers, available on-line.
The Journal pages are images, so they may load s-l-o-w-l-y, but they are worth the wait. We are constantly
humbled and up-lifted by the words of our sisters. Keep writing; even if there is no Journal now, one day there will be.
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Articles on Mothers and Work
This is a loaded subject, which includes the work we do for pay outside of home, the work we do for no pay at home,
balancing work and family, the secret escape or the additional burden that work can be. This topic includes discussions
of the inequities of mother's work, as well as the joy of it. Go for it! Tell us what you feel, think, experience.
Please send thoughts, rants, humor, poetry, whatever is your truth as a mother. We do not look for professional writers,
but welcome all mothers to share their truth (short & raw preferred, 1/2 page or less.) Please send contributions to annette@motherwoman.org or MW Inc. P.O. Box 2635 Amherst, MA 01004
If you are super upset about this and would like to see the
Journal in print again, please contact Annette Cycon, Program Director
at Annette@motherwoman.org.
